JIT Services, in partnership with Envinta, has developed a utility program to help drive hard-to-reach business customers to existing utility programs. Through a custom outreach and phone assessment process, business customers receive a report identifying areas of efficiency that fit the customer’s needs. A combination of behavioral and technology upgrades is shared for immediate review and action. Then, the customer receives a monthly scorecard that provides a summary of their energy use along with reminders of the various measures from their initial report. Each month, the scorecard lists energy efficiency helpful hints that may be seasonal or promoting a specific program that the utility wants to promote.

Utilities may also have some of the participants receive periodic coaching with outreach calls to help guide them further down the path of efficiency and increase participation. JIT has also conducted webinar sessions to further inform these hard-to-reach business customers of program opportunities.
